Originally developed during the 1990’s, the Carbro product range was acquired by Acorn Group in 2009. As an experienced marketer and owner of leading brand names such as Tabard, Teepol and Vapona, the Acorn team immediately set about improving most of the original Carbro products and successfully positioning the brand for increased growth.

Today Carbro is arguably South Africa’s best known specialised cleaning products brand and continues to grow as new products are added to the range. From 2019 to 2021, Acorn conducted an extensive evaluation of each product in the Carbro range, in line with its commitment to international Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

This resulted in the enhancement of many Carbro formulations, as well as a transition to more user friendly and more durable packaging. Every batch of Carbro products is laboratory tested for quality and efficacy, ensuring that the brand keeps its promise to provide consumers with ‘The Right Stuff’.
